The president-elect said Sunday he believes he can beat President-elect Donald Trump in a third straight election, despite the businessman’s defeat in last year’s presidential race.
“I don’t think there’s a lot of doubt,” Trump told Fox News’ “Fox & Friends.”
Trump was asked about reports he may not run for a third term.
“No, no,” Trump said.
“I think I can run again, I’m going to do my best.
I think I’ve done my best.”
He said he’s “absolutely” going to fight for a second term.
Trump’s presidential bid, which included a rally at the Carrier plant in Indianapolis on Nov. 7, saw Trump lose the popular vote by about 3.8 million votes to Democrat Hillary Clinton.
