Why a Cleveland Browns player had a $30,000 diamond-encrusted car on the road

A Cleveland Browns linebacker has had a diamond-engraved Cadillac Escalade stolen.

Cleveland.com reported that Jermon Bushrod, the defensive end from Ohio State, had his car stolen Saturday from his car dealership in the city.

The car, a 2015 Silverado, had been reported stolen from the same dealership in September.

According to the report, the car was repainted in the diamond-studded blue and black color scheme.

The Escalades are normally painted in the same bright blue and white, but they’re not normally painted this bright.

The owner of the dealership told Cleveland.com that Bushrod had a “tour of duty” in the Persian Gulf and was on his way home.

According the report:A customer reported the car missing in the early morning hours of Sunday, Sept. 27.

The vehicle was located a short time later.

The Cleveland Police Department was called to the location.

The vehicle’s license plate number was given to police and Bushrod was arrested.
